Turning smart dashes on or off doesn’t affect existing hyphens and dashes in your document, only new text that you type.

1. Choose Pages > Preferences (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen).
2. Click Auto-Correction at the top of the preferences window.
3. In the Formatting section, select or deselect the “Use smart quotes and dashes” checkbox.

C. Prevent your Mac from automatically disabling remote login

1. Open System Preferences.
2. Select Energy Saver.
3. Select Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off.
4. Deselect Put hard disks to sleep when possible.
5. Drag the Turn display off after slider to 3 hours or Never.
6. Important step: repeat the procedure for Battery tab.

D. Increase Terminal text size

1. Open Terminal app.
2. Click Terminal > Settings… > Profiles > Basic.
3. Click Text.
4. Locate Font section. Click Change…. button.
5. Select a new size.
6. Close Font window.
7. Close Profiles window.
8. Click Shell tab beside Terminal.
9. Select New Window > New Window with Profile – Basic.
